Wantu was born on 3 March 2008 from a pack of 12 puppies in the Tusani Kennel in Slowakia. The first time we saw the puppies was on 28 and 29 March. We didn’t know if the male puppies would be reddish or light-blue. We had extensive e-mail and telephone contact with Monica, the dog breeder, and she helped us making our choice. We chose the reddish one! On 30 April we travelled to Slowakia to pick up Wantu. We were welcomed by Monica and Richard. Together with Wantu and a backpack full of materials from the breeders, we went back to Holland. It was a trip of 1700 kilometres but Wantu did really well. On 2 May 2008 we came home, tired but pleased with Wantu.
